Huawei is sending a new HarmonyOS 2.0 update for the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 tablet. This software update comes with optimizations to provide a better user experience. The MatePad 12.6 users can identify this upgrade with the new firmware version 2.0.0.170 (C00E160R1P17).
The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 update is currently rolling out in China and is in the early stage of the rollout. So, it may take time to cover all MatePad Pro 12.6 tablet units.
As per the changelog, this update optimized the rounded corner animation effect of the application, when it starts. Additionally, it also improved the forced restart mode experience to prevent accidental touches. (Via- HC Newsroom)
To access the forced restart mode, users need to press the volume down button and power button at the same time for more than ten seconds.
