September 2020 update rolling out for Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro (EMUI 10.1.0.301)

Huawei is sending the September security update for Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro users. This security update improves system security and provides stability for a better user experience.

Huawei has already started EMUI 11 beta testing for its flagship devices and also released their first EMUI 11 beta software update. According to the past reports, the company will soon announce the EMUI 11 beta testing program for Mate 20 and P30 series.

Currently, Huawei is working on EMUI 11 and expanding the EMUI 11 beta testing program for different regions. Recently, the company announced EMUI 11 public beta for 10 devices of Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad series.

UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:

Through Setting:

  1. Open Settings on your device
  2. Click on system & updates
  3. Click on the software update
  4. Check for updates
  5. Click on the download button
  6. Install updates
  7. After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears onscreen
  8. Reboot the device

Through Support app:

  1. Open the Support app on your device
  2. If not installed, download it from the play store
  3.  Open service tab
  4. Tap on update
  5. Check for updates
