Huawei recently rolled out the April software update for the Watch GT 2, Watch GT, and Watch GT 2e in some markets, and now the update is available for global users.
Huawei Watch GT 2 April 2020 update:
Huawei Watch GT 2e is the first Huawei smartwatch that features the SpO2 blood oxygen measure and the company has decided to expand this update to its predecessor Watch GT 2.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 receiving a new update, that brings it the SpO2 and improves system stability.
What is SpO2?
SpO2 feature that allows users to track their blood oxygen saturation levels for their health and fitness. SpO2, also known as blood oxygen saturation, is a measure of the amount of oxygen-carrying hemoglobin relative to the total hemoglobin in the blood.
Huawei Watch GT 2 update information:
- Adds features for measuring SpO2 optimizations.
- Improves system stability.
The update comes with version number 188.8.131.52 (and 184.108.40.206) weighs over 18.37 MB.
Huawei Watch GT April 2020 update:
Huawei Watch GT is getting April 2020 update with fixes for some bugs. The update comes with version number 220.127.116.11 weighs over 2.84 MB.
Huawei Watch GT 2e April 2020 update:
Huawei Watch GT 2e is getting a new update with stability improvements. The software version of this update is 18.104.22.168.

HOW TO UPDATE:
- The update progress in the app is just for transferring the update package, it still needs to be installed on the watch for the update to complete.
- The watch needs to have at least 20% battery to update.
Update: Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose Firmware update, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your watch if there are any new updates.
