According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 will become the first foldable from Samsung to feature an IP rating. The IP (Ingress Protection) rating ensures the dust and water resistance of an electronic gadget.

Although these phones might not feature the IP68 rating of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, it indicates a major improvement in the durability department. As per the previous reports, Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 somewhere in July this year.

Furthermore, recently it is reported that the company started the firmware development of its upcoming foldable models, which will exclusively come with Android 11-based One UI 3.5 out of the box.

Adding to this, a tipster has recently disclosed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will not be powered by Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100. Therefore, it’s most expected to equip a new Exynos processor with an AMD GPU. In addition, it could feature a slightly smaller cover display compared to its predecessor.
