Did Samsung accidently listed the unreleased Galaxy A82 on the official software update support page?

Earlier today, Samsung issued a security bulletin for May 2021, which showed the threats and CVEs fixed in this month’s security updates. At the same time, the company released a revised list of devices that are eligible to receive new security updates on a monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis.

For the updated version of the list, Galaxy S8 users have released 4 years of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to obtain software update support for the device, which is disappointing news for Galaxy S8 users. In addition, the same data surprisingly shows that the Galaxy A82 5G is eligible for new security updates every quarter.

However, Samsung has not yet released the Galaxy A82 5G smartphone but has accidentally added it to the security bulletin. It is worth mentioning that the company launched Galaxy Quantum 2 in South Korea last month and is expected to sell it as the Galaxy A82 5G in the international market.

The Samsung Galaxy A82 5G may be equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a QHD+ resolution of 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has a Snapdragon 855+ processor and is supported by 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory.

Just like the flagship store, the Galaxy A82 5G is equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and stereo speakers on the display. There is no doubt that the company will immediately equip this phone with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11.

In terms of optics, it may have a triple rear camera setup, which consists of a 64MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro.
