The latest information shared by well-known tipster hints that the company may plan to launch a third flagship phone in the Chinese market. As indicated, Xiaomi will launch three mobile phones with Snapdragon 8 Series chipsets. It is not clear whether he is talking about the Mi 11 series or the Redmi K40 series.
Xiaomi can use Snapdragon 8 series chips to power its Mi series flagship phones. The Mi 11 has an SD888 chip, and the Mi 11 Pro can use the same chip. Since the tipster did not specifically mention whether the third device had an SD888 chip or not, it could be equipped with the newly released Snapdragon 870.
The screens of these three phones are not curved displays of waterfall shape but are slightly curved and the high-end version of the series is equipped with a 108-megapixel camera.
Recently, the Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India confirmed that India will receive two Mi flagship phones equipped with Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 870 SoC. It is also believed that Mi 10 series phones can be equipped with an SD870 chip.
Therefore, the three phones we can talk about can be the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro smartphones with Snapdragon 888, and the Mi 10 series phones with the Snapdragon 870 SoC.
