Honor 30 series users started getting the latest HarmonyOS software update with January 2022 security patch. This update brings security and stability of the system and protect the device against threats.
January 2022 security improvement,brings fixes for the 130 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities found in the framework, system, application, and third-party libraries of the HarmonyOS software system.

Users of the mentioned devices can identify the January 2022 software update with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.220. However, to upgrade over the latest firmware the Honor 30 users need base version 2.0.0.216 while the Honor 30 Pro and Pro+ required HM OS build version 2.0.0.218.
Speaking about the Honor 30 series, it was launched in April 2020 with Magic UI 3.1 based on Android 10 out of the box. Further, this series grabbed Magic UI 4 major update and followed by HarmonyOS 2.0 software rollout. Now, these Honor 30 smartphones performing well in the user’s hands with the HarmonyOS system.
