Samsung releasing September 2021 security patch for Samsung Galaxy A71 and M30s

Samsung is releasing its September 2021 security patch for the Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy M30s smartphone users with a new firmware update. Initially, the update is rolling out in China and Ukraine for the Galaxy A71 and M30s devices respectively.

It is reported that, the Galaxy A71 5G is getting the new September 2021 update with firmware version – A7160ZCU5CUH2, while the Galaxy M30s is M307FNXXU4CUH6. To be mentioned, the September 2021 security patch brings fixes for 46 CVEs from Google and 23 SVEs from Samsung.

Apart from the system security improvements, the latest software update didn’t bring any new feature or system optimization for the Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy M30s. However, the upcoming Android 12-based One UI 4 update will be a big deal for both of these smartphones.

Previously 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy A71 5G, while the Galaxy M30s in late 2019. These devices are eligible for three and two Android OS upgrades respectively, therefore, both of these phones will get the Android 12 upgrade sometime in early next year.
