Upcoming OnePlus flagships will have improved camera performance: OnePlus CEO

Back in 2019, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 7 series flagship smartphones. The top variant OnePlus 7 Pro came with the industry’s top 2K+ 90Hz fluid display at the time. Its screen has gained huge impressive results but the camera performance of these smartphones is not satisfactory.

Learning from its consumers, OnePlus may change the camera performance of its upcoming smartphones this year. According to the info, the CEO of OnePlus has replied to the users on Weibo that “This year we will invest huge resources in cameras and strive to be the world’s number one image function.”

Earlier this month, it is also rumored that OnePlus and Leica will together develop a smartphone lens this year to improve the camera standard of the upcoming OnePlus 9 series. As we know, the company is expected to launch three phones in its upcoming OnePlus 9 series including OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9E. The top variant will equip two 48MP Sony IMX689 primary lenses.

We are full of determination and confidence to sprint forward to a higher and broader future.”
