Firefox introduced a Microsoft Win11/Win10 application store

Firefox engineers revealed when answering the wrong question that they are reconsidering whether to log in to the Microsoft App Store because traditional Win32 applications can be directly put on the shelves without additional packaging or using Microsoft’s browser engine.

According to the latest report, Mozilla Firefox has been launched on the Win11 / Win10 application store recently, but it is not yet open for download. The system requires Win10 17763 and above.

However, the users got the download address of the application package. The browser is Firefox 94 international version, and it is marked with the words “Mozilla-MSIX-1.0”. 

Moreover, Microsoft has updated its store policy page, requiring that the Web browser of the Win11 store “must use  Chromium or Gecko open-source engine”, and Gecko is the engine used by the Firefox browser.
